my artwork “Tribute: war pigeons”

featured in The Age on May 15, 2015.

These individual artworks were installed in the gallery in a circular hang reflecting the shape of the Dickin Medal, an award bestowed on 32 pigeons following WW2.

When Mother’s Day Classic originally approached Lisa to do an illustration for the ME Bank 2013 bandana, Lisa Sewards jumped at the chance and dedicated her artwork for the bandana to her courageous and beautiful friend Rachel West.  Read more…
